Writer's Resources
Writing can be a lonely expedition - although it doesn't have to be. Community makes a big difference - whether it is journals, books, courses or a group. Check out these resources that have made a huge difference in my writing practice and process.
Creative Rehab
Andrea Balt is a creative troublemaker. Creating, exploring and expanding through offers for writers and artists alike. Her program Write Yourself Alive lit a fuse under my writing. Her other offers include Year of You - a year long exploration in the writer that lives inside of you.
PNWA - Pacific Northwest Writers Association
The PNWA has supported the writers of the pacific northwest for over 30 years. Their annual literary contest and conference is one of the most popular in the region.
Hugo House
Recently inhabiting their new center in Capital Hill of Seattle. The Hugo House is unique - bringing together poets and writers, creatives and drama. They offer courses and readers weekly and support the community with a space for writers to throw down.
