In December 2013 I was challenged to write a Christmas Story. It mainly came from the movie, "Smoke" where William Hurt (playing Paul Auster) asked Harvey Keitel for a Christmas Story. I was inspired by the fact that Christmas stories do not have to look or feel like the Lifetime Movie Network or Hallmark Channel movie marathon of Angels and Santa Claus.

It was 2006 in the small community of Georgetown Seattle WA. We'd barely lived there for a year when our first born Taylor was born. I frequently walked the neighborhood - stroller and the future - ever moving forward. Taylor and I made a point to stop by the Empty Lot - and blow wishes from dandelions. Enjoy this story about a father and the stories he carries with him.
